Perform multi-point inspection and diagnose malfunction(s)Efficiently repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air-conditioning, etc.
, in accordance with dealership standardsExplain mechanical diagnoses/required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customersProvide an estimate of the time needed for repairsTest-drive vehicles before and after repairsTest components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentLearn new technical information and techniques in training sessionsAdhere to company regulations and keep abreast of recalls and updates.
Report any damaged or defective equipment to management.
Report safety issues to management and ensure a clean working area.
Qualifications/Requirements - Technician:
Previous automotive preventative maintenance experiencePrevious formal automotive trainingAt least 3 years' experience as a technicianASE Certification a plusMust have a strong work ethic; independently motivated to produce results with limited influence from othersMust be a hard worker, someone who works diligently to get tasks done and demonstrates personal characteristics, such as responsibility, dependability, conscientiousness, communication, and teamworkThe ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions is importantDisplay a commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industryAbility to read, understand, and follow procedures and guidelinesCommitment to following established safety policies and proceduresHigh School Diploma or GEDValid driver's licenseMust be at least 18 years of ageMust have tools Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting workPlease upload your resume and complete the online assessmentMust be authorized to work in the U.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
