LOGISTICS COORDINATOR Job Summary - Plan and coordinate all phases of international and domestic transportation of the business products from initial pick-up through the final destination.
Essential Responsibilities, Communicate with administration, production, warehouse staff, and carriers to ensure efficient and timely transportation and delivery of our products.
Act as a key point of contact for all freight movement activities.
Keep customers apprised of any issues that might affect the scheduled delivery of the product.
Liaise and negotiate with carriers to obtain quotes and identify the most cost-effective modes of transportation to achieve the expediency required to meet company standards and optimal customer satisfaction.
Analyze logistical problems and produce new solutions.
Keep management advised of any inbound and outbound freight issues or changes.
Input and maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our in-house database.
